The Immanuel Early Childhood Development Center (IECDC) is a Safe Place Parents Trust.

We offer a wide range of age-appropriate learning activities in a secure, loving Christian environment for infants, toddlers, and children ages 6 weeks through 12 years old.

We are recognized as a trusted provider of quality Christian childcare in Bridgman and Southwest Michigan. In partnership with the church and families, we work diligently to nurture children’s growth physically, socially, intellectually, and spiritually. We are licensed and have been certified as a quality-rated program by the Michigan Department of Education.

First and foremost, we provide a safe, secure child care environment that is open from 6:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. At the Immanuel Lutheran Early Childhood Development Center, you will find a spacious, enclosed outdoor playground, a college-sized gymnasium with six basketball hoops, and a carefully designed security system. But we offer so much more. In addition to a safe, pleasant environment, we are a learning center where research-based curriculum, trained instructors, and well-appointed classrooms will have a positive impact on your child’s growth and development. Infants and Toddlers (6 weeks to 36 months old)

For infants and toddlers, we practice the Creative Curriculum® program which promotes a high-quality learning environment that enables every child to become a creative, confident thinker. Creative Curriculum® teaches your child how to learn, giving your child good habits, attitudes and positive sense of self that will make a difference throughout his or her life.

In planning our curriculum, we choose age appropriate themes taught through books, poems, sons, dramatic play, art projects, group activities, and real life experiences. Our philosophy is that play is your child’s work; it is the means by which your child learns. We encourage learning through centers, which offer children choices to explore through child-directed and teacher-directed play.

School Age (6 years to 12 years)

For busy, working parents, safe and secure care for your child before and after school or when public schools are closed can present a challenge. By working together, we can schedule your child’s time at the Immanuel Early Childhood Development Center so you have the care you can trust for your school age child.
